On Thursday 7th May villagers will be heading to the polls for three elections; Parliamentary, Cheshire East Council and Lower Withington Parish Council.

Lower Withington is within the Macclesfield Constituency for Parliamentary elections.

Lower Withington is within the Gawsworth Ward of Cheshire East Council and represented by one councillor.

Lower Withington Parish Council comprises 7 councillors and in 2011, only 3 stood for election.
