Vacancies for two Parish Councillors

Notice is hereby given that by reason of insufficient nominations at the last election

two Councillor vacancies remain for Lower Withington Parish Council.

Any person willing to fill these vacancies should make themselves known to the

Parish Council using the contact details below on or before Tuesday 19th January,

2016.

Each applicant must submit a short written expression of interest setting out why you

wish to be considered for co-option to Lower Withington Parish Council and what

skills, knowledge and experience you can bring to the role.

The applicant’s name must appear on the current register of electors or the applicant

should during the whole of the twelve months prior to 19th January, 2016 have

resided in or within three miles of the parish or the applicant’s only place of work

during the whole of the twelve months prior to 19th January, 2016 is in the parish.

The applicant must not be debarred from standing as a Councillor.
